Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public access to many records, but court records also follow Kansas Supreme Court Rule 22 and confidentiality rules. In Marion County, the Clerk of the District Court handles district court case records, including criminal, civil, domestic, probate, traffic, small claims, and marriage license records. The County Clerk handles county administrative work such as elections, genealogy, and tax roll certification. The Sheriff's Office handles jail and law enforcement records, while Kansas CaseSearch and the 8th Judicial District docket pages handle much of the online court lookup path.

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
